I made it home alright. Cried a little on the plane, but seeing my fam again was great. They really enjoyed the stuff I brought for them. Been bumming around on the couch with my cat all day ^^, he´s happy.
To those of you I did get to see again: It´s been a pleasure. I had a great three weeks, so thanks.

I am home and I am safe. The flight was all right.
I selpt a little just now, but I´m still tired.

I saw MUSIC AND LYRICS and HOLIDAY on the plane. Liked the last one very much, the first one was ok. |

I went and saw IN THE LAND OF WOMEN with Ashley yesterday. Unfortunately the end was really stupid (I'm still mad), but we had an awesome time.
I'm sad I didn't get to see Lauren and Tobbles while I was here. :(

I went to Northeast with Kimberly today to see all my teachers and some of the students I know, Mr. Rasch and Mr. Manion etc. ... And I was going to have lunch with Ashley and then we were going to go see some more teachers together and talk to them and all.
HOWEVER I wasn't allowed to stay. So annoying. I went in the student services to get a visitors pass and the woman at the desk phones the new principal Mr Hudson. He tells her that former students aren't allowed to go to classes anymore, they can only come in at lunchtime. Great. So I had just gotten there and they wanted to send me back home again. Thus I went to see Mr. Rasch in the cafeteria and he was like: Oh it's so great to see you again, of course I'd let you stay, but Mr Hudson probably won't cause if he makes an exception now, he would have to do it for other people as well. But you should go and introduce yourself, say hi....
So we search for him and when we finally find him he's like: Oh this is great and all, I've been to Germany before yadde yadda, but you can't stay. You can come back for lunch.
So I told him that I was here with my host sister and that I wouldn't have a ride to come back for lunch. So he budged a little and said that I could stay for 1st block and wonder around and see all the teachers I had, but then I had to leave.
Like that made any sense at all?! I can stay for first block and for lunch, but not for 2nd, 3rd and 4th?!
Anyways, I went with Kimberly in her 1st block (Mr. Christinat) and watched some of the Hamlet movie I have already seen, then they had to take a senior survey, so they went to the library. On the way there I met Mr. Schmidt and talked to him for a while. Then I went to Mr. Kiernan' s room and talked to him for like 2 min., and then I had to leave. Oh yeah, I did get to see Mr. Gerig quite a few times cause he was at the student services when I came in and I saw him in the hallway again and then I went and told him goodbye.
I am really disappointed though that they didn't let me stay. I mean I came all the way from Germany and now I got to talk to my teachers for like 5 min. and all the people I saw were Christine (^^) and one of Kimberly's friends. And I didn't get to go to lunch with Ashley either.
SO annoying. But I am happy I did get to see the people that I saw and I guess I should be greatful for that, rather than be annoyed. |

I was in Hamburg the past 5 days. It was fun. Exept for: 1. All the time I had to sit in the train, especially yesterday when it was 2 and 1/2 h late. 2. The day before yesterday I fell in the shower. The water suddenly turned from hot to ice cold, so I took 2 quick steps back to get away from it, but that´s where the slope in the bathtub came upward (where you usually have your back against when you´re sitting in it), so I slipped and *wham*, landed on my hip and my ear. My ear was bleeding a bit and is now blue and still hurts when I laugh.
But other than that it was pretty nice. My friend showed me around the city, we cooked, watched some x-files, went out at night... And she works in a shop where you can get all kinds of soap, showering- and bathing-stuff, so she gave me several things for free and now I smell good all the time. :D
I had an other driving lesson today. It´s always fun. It was my 5th one and I got to drive on the Autobahn. Scary stuff. I) Now I have go through all the theoretical questions, which is a lot and kinda sucks, but I´ll have to take the test soon, so I gotta do it.

Ok guys,
I´m doin better than I did the first 2-3 days. Cause I really missed Wichita then. I didn´t feel at home.
But then on Friday I went to a birthday party and it was actually pretty cool. I laughed a lot. And I feel more at home. My suitcases are unpacked, I know where everything stands and sits again, I watched some x-files aaaaand tomorrow I´ll have to go back to school. Which kinda sucks. Everybody is whining about how hard it is *angst*. But, oh well, it´ll just be like one more month and then I´ll have another break for 1 and 1/2 month.

OMG, Mr. Gerig just got a golden apple!! It was so awesome. In the last 3rd of class today some people suddenly came in the door (with camara and stuff *scary*) and announced that Mr. Gerig won a golden apple for being such a great teacher. Some Sophomore from NorthEast had written a letter to some TV channel (Kake TV or sth.?!) and told them how great a teacher he was yadde yadda. So Mr. Gerig won that golden apple trophy and also 250 bucks. He says he's gonna donate it. He was so stunned, it was really awesome. And those people interviewed some of the students and asked them, what makes Mr. G. such a great teacher, and then they interviewed Mr. Gerig. They said it's gonna be on TV on Saturday night at 10pm. They also gave us a pizza party. I guess they're working together with Papa Johns or sth. It was really cool, I was happy for him!!!!! |

Hihihi, we just got home from Tallianos where we went after church and had a lot of fun in the car. Me, Tamara, Chauntae and Kimberly were all squeezed together on the back seat and were joking around about big butts getting more space yadde yadda.... And then Chauntae was like: "Tamara, at least I have a smaller nose than you." And Tamara hit her on the leg and Chauntae was like: "Ow, that hurt." And Kimberly was like: "Hehehe, Chauntaes longer leg got hurt." (She thinks one leg is longer than the other one.) Was a lot of fun :DD.

Last night was awesome! We had an open Gym night at my church and we played cards and some ball game I don't know the name of, had snacks and just some cool 2 hours. The best part actually was me getting to talk to Eric for a long time and it was really nice. So I was all in a good mood but back at home it all went kinda down. Chauntae was being all jealous again because I talked to Eric and of course she wanted to know everything about it. I didn't want her to get mad at me and be a good sister so I told her what we were talking about. She and Eric are supposed to be best friends, but afterwards she told me that there were some things Eric wouldn't tell her but told me, and then I felt bad for being a bad friend to Eric and not keeping his "secrets". I shouldn't have gotten involved into this whole Eric/Chauntae-thing in the first place *grummel*.
And then it got even worse when I asked my dad about spending Thanksgiving lunch with Holly, but we're having Thanksgiving lunch and not dinner, too, and it's a family thing bla bla, which totally sucks butt because I love my Holly big trees and it would have been awesome to finally see her house and meet her mom and gradma and everyone else. I'm very pissed about that!!!
This morning I had to get up early because we were helping some people with Thanksgiving stuff and first we all had to carry around turkeys and food, then sort it, and then I had to take orders and give people their receipts.
Right now we have a bunch of people here for Kimberly's suprise birthday party... they've just arrived, so I gotta go..... |

I have planned on updating my journal since forever, but either I was too busy or somebody else was on the computer or it didn't want to see my face and suddenly stopped working. But now I am here, so let me start on Friday.
Friday wasn't real spectacular, my dad's mom and Cessy came from California, my sisters went to the play, I watched CSI, the friends and then A time to kill. I so love this movie. And friends was awesome cute!!
On Saturday I got to see my Ashley-poo and my Holly-poo when I went to see the play. That made me really happy and I am glad you stayed there for me guys!! And My fair lady was just so awesome, it made me laugh. Holly said it could have been a lot better and Mr. Conrad just sucks, but I have nothing to compare it to because I didn't see the movie, so I liked it. I think the actors did a great job, I loved the set, I was very proud of my Erin.... And it was just hilarious when that one guy didn't get his jacket on and Liz tried to help him but couldn't figure it out either, or when that other guy didn't get the candle lit and Erin was like "Where did you get those matches?". And the "why can't a woman be like a man"-song was very funny!! I enjoyed it very much!
After that we went to IHOP and I was kinda out of it because I was so tired. But it was fun. Poor Eric got in trouble cause he actually had to be home at 11 and he came home at 12 something. I-)
On Sunday we went to church, Nana and Cessy left, Kimberly was writing a paper all day so I couldn't get on the computer, my mom and dad ask me if I wanted to play darts with them, so I played darts, then we played mexican train, and after that it was time for me to go to bed.
And yesterday Holly, Ashley, Erin and Sam were all gone so school wasn't real fun, but my evening was quite good, so yeah.
A right now I was looking for this Snufflesomething on sesame street and what we call it in Germany, but I can't find it anywhere. It seems to be in no sesame street picture on the internet, sorry Holly. I found Big Bird though, her German name is Bibo (don't ask me, I didn't make it up I-)). Why does life suck so much sometimes. It's always going up and down and up and down. When I'm in a good mood I tell myself that it's because otherwise life would be boring. But right now I'm just sick of it.
And why do people have to be so stupid? Sometimes they care, other times they don't (or it just seems like it). And I am so tired of people telling me that they're gonna do something but then they won't do it.
*deep breath*
I feel a little better now.
This morning I went to Joyce's funeral with my family. I think it's terrible to die so all of a sudden, but she was 72 years old and she kinda had a hard time since her husband died, so I think she might actually be better off. Just because life sucks sometimes and we don't really have a reason to be on this planet anyways. We live and then we die, and in the end it doesn't even matter (linkin park rocks!).
I'm bored...
