OMG, Mr. Gerig just got a golden apple!! It was so awesome. In the last 3rd of class today some people suddenly came in the door (with camara and stuff *scary*) and announced that Mr. Gerig won a golden apple for being such a great teacher. Some Sophomore from NorthEast had written a letter to some TV channel (Kake TV or sth.?!) and told them how great a teacher he was yadde yadda. So Mr. Gerig won that golden apple trophy and also 250 bucks. He says he's gonna donate it. He was so stunned, it was really awesome. And those people interviewed some of the students and asked them, what makes Mr. G. such a great teacher, and then they interviewed Mr. Gerig. They said it's gonna be on TV on Saturday night at 10pm. They also gave us a pizza party. I guess they're working together with Papa Johns or sth. It was really cool, I was happy for him!!!!!
